Kaoru is reminiscing about early in her acquaintance with Kenshin. She and Yahiko, shown here, are doing laundry and Kenshin is hanging it up to dry. Kaoru wonders aloud how a man who can be so domestic could kill people. Yahiko snorts and responds "You shouldn't ask questions like that." He then goes on to compare his own past as a pickpocket to Kenshin's past - something that should remain in the past.
